Rishikesh seems the best place to talk about , as one of my friend will start his solo journey from Rishikesh to Kedarnath today at almost the same time i’ll be posting this.

The mighty kingdom of Himalayan ranges ends here and mother Ganges flows down to the plains further down, enlivening millions of people by its sacred water. It flows 800 kms down this point and meets Yamuna and Saraswati rivers at Allahabad.

A Walk in the Park

This picture is from scenic countryside of Ireland , not very away from the main urban city of Dublin.
There is something very beautiful about the irish evenings , the sky takes all different shades in just a couple of hours , the colours of everything around becomes bright and it seems nature has saturated all the tones.

Craters on Moon

When I look up into the sky, I see objects that seem very small, Everything around me seems much more grand. But when I look in through a telescope these objects above me grow and it abates my flawed perception of grandness of the things around me.

Sleeping Buddha

A statue of Buddha depicting him transcending into Parinirvana, it is the state of the complete awakening of the soul and communion with universe (god).

It is only our deeds and doings that make us live for centuries and millennias in people’s heart and mind. Only our diligence make us immortal. If the world is a stage then the act of humans should only be of altruism and compassion.

Pondering over the implication of dynamics

Wondering should i cross the road or will it be better for me on this side of the road. The world is not about always doing something in order to gain or win. Sometimes it’s better to wait, for the right moment, for the right time.

When you are tired from the walk of life, you always start running - towards isolation. Sometimes the world is better understood when seen from outside, not being a part of it. It’s like moving into the slower lane from the fast lane.

Staring into Infinity

"Eyes are just lenses , film is in the brain"

One of the most strange look i've ever came across. Most people when getting clicked either look into the camera or turn their face away, but this guy was like meditating with open eyes and looking beyond the realms of reality. My presence with the camera didn't affect him in any way and he continued staring into infinity.

Eternal Glory

Shahjahan once described Taj Mahal :

Should guilty seek asylum here,
Like one pardoned, he becomes free from sin.

Should a sinner make his way to this mansion,
All his past sins are to be washed away.

The sight of this mansion creates sorrowing sighs;
And the sun and the moon shed tears from their eyes.

In this world this edifice has been made;
To display thereby the creator's glory.

I came up with a new photo blog to display my work. I could not find a better subject to start with.

The Taj Mahal is the finest example of Mughal architecture, a style that combines elements from Islamic, Indian and Persian architectural styles, it is considered "the jewel of Muslim art in India”

This is the beginning and I believe there is a long way ahead. I would appreciate suggestions and honest criticism about my attempt to capture the beauties of world.
