In Tribute to dear friend Tushar - RIP

I woke up today to the news that my friend Tushar will no longer be with us to spread his love amongst us. He has been relinquished from his earthly duties and called upon by god for a heavenly abode. May his soul rejoice the union with the omnipresent and god give strength to his family.

Karst Landscape

The Burren (Irish: Boireann, meaning "great rock"), is a karsts-landscape region in northwest County Clare, in Ireland. It is one of the largest karst landscapes in Europe. The region measures approximately 250 square kilometres.

The rolling hills of Burren are composed of limestone pavements with crisscrossing cracks known as "grikes", leaving isolated rocks called "clints". The region supports arctic, Mediterranean and alpine plants side-by-side, due to the unusual environment.

It was a terrific coincidence to see a real life monkey just sitting beside the gold polished statue of a monkey guarding the gates of a hanuman (hindu deity) temple.

Land Ends

Exposed to the Atlantic swell, this place near Fanore Beach has delicate limestone cliffs. Close to the heart of the Burren area, which is fascinating for botanist, zoologist, archeologist and geologist for its history, flora and fauna. This is the western most part of European continent.

The Hole of Sorrows

Poulnabrone Dolmen (in Irish meaning "hole of sorrows") is a portal tomb dating back to the Neolithic period, probably between 4200 BC to 2900 BC.
The dolmen consists of a twelve-foot, thin, slab-like, tabular capstone supported by two slender portal stones, which lift the capstone 1.8m (6ft) from the ground, creating a chamber in a 9m (30ft) low cairn. The cairn helped stabilize the tomb, and would have been much higher originally. The entrance faces north and is crossed by a low sill stone.
